Party EXP Bonus

Partying with friends never felt better.

Each player in your party on the same map as you increases the experience earned from a monster by 10%. This bonus is only applied once per PC and only if you are not idle.

Note: Having any non-idle character on the map sharing your gepard and master account IDs will allow your character in party to be counted as non-idle.
Note: A player is considered idle when they have not performed any action for 60 seconds. Additionally, a player is always considered idle (regardless of time) if they are in a chat room, a vendor shop, or a buying store.

Idle System

A player is considered idle after 60 seconds of inactivity. Players are also always considered idle while in a chat room, vendor shop, or buying store, regardless of time.

Actions That Reset Idle

The following actions reset your idle timer (configured via idletime_option: 0x7C1F):

Using, equipping, or unequipping an item 0x0008
Attacking (including auto-attack) 0x0010
Closing an NPC window 0x0400
Providing input to an NPC 0x0800
Selecting an NPC menu option 0x1000
Clicking Next in an NPC dialog 0x2000
Completing an NPC progress bar 0x4000

The following actions do not reset your idle timer: chatting, sitting/standing, emotes, dropping items, and @commands.

Effects of Being Idle

Feature Effect
Party EXP Idle players still receive EXP but do not count toward the party size bonus.
Party loot distribution Idle players are excluded from round-robin and random loot rolls.
