Hello!
Hello! I am CM Koi!

Welcome to Revenant Elegy, the successor of Project Revenant with improved systems and new custom content made by the RE team! Many of PR's original elements have been tweaked for the new server in hopes of better quality of life while also reducing power creeping as best as we can-- to help ensure the longevity of the server for years to come! This has been an intense team effort between GM Kins, CC Eddga, CM Pon and myself, we sincerely hope that you will enjoy the perks and quirks of the new server!

Here I have a generalised guide for new and returning players to refer to, it isn't intended to be a one-size-fits-all sort of thing; but I hope it helps to point you in the right directions while navigating this game. The information presented is mostly based off of experience from myself and other players over the years, alongside some tweaks in relation to Revenant Elegy respectively.

Official staff will NEVER:

Official staff will never pressure, threaten or harass players for personal information or money. Report any suspicious activity!
❌ Offer special "GM" powers or other secret perks to random players.

❌ Ask you to download additional software in secret, especially in private DMs.

(For some reason, scammers love chatrooms for impersonating staff in-game too... We don't like to use chatrooms.)
❌ Request for your password, account details, items or money.

❌ Pressure you to speak to them privately in DM (for any reason) instead of the ticket system.

----
❌ Resort to threats, punishment or harassment if you choose not to comply to any of the above.

General Leveling Spots
Based off of personal experience and feedback from other players. I will try to provide the best map(s) with their relevant monster(s), plus tips and other information. Please bear in mind that I will not list every single monster available on that map if they are deemed to be minor spawns, so please be careful when hunting! You might get an unwelcome surprise!
Also, see Monster Changes!

Level 2x to 4x
Brief notes on each of the first classes you can start off with, based off my personal experience and thoughts. My knowledge on some classes are very limited, so it's worth asking other players for more information.

|Malangdo Dungeon
|Swordsman
[Floor 1]
|
|mal_dun01
*Fairly cheap and easy to level overall
|
*Very easy to play
*Pouring
1894

*You can get away with using just NPC gears for the most part
*Siorava
2199

*Good for mob farming in future classes
*Red Eruma
2197

|
|
*They can be expensive to supply HP recovery items for mobbing/tanking
*Most monsters are weak to Wind element
|
*Watch out for Wild Rider! (Mini Boss)
*Great starter class overall, both Knights and Crusaders are good for different reasons. I enjoyed playing both of them.
*This map has been nerfed from PR. EXP is similar to Wolves now.
*Crusader builds are less flexible with their builds, you kinda have to choose one build or another to commit to; hybrid builds aren't really good overall. Simply put: Grand Cross is magic based, while Holy Cross/Agi is attack based, and Devotion is all about having a ton of HP and Dex.
*Use Warper to Malangdo Dungeon
*Knight builds are more straightforward while still being flexible. The builds are fairly similar to each other so it's easier to experiment without having to compromise too much-- compared to crusaders at least.
|-
|Archer
|
*Very easy to play and level
*Great for solo farming materials for zeny
*Hunters and Performers are great and desirable in parties.
|
*Can be a bit tedious to gear (but it's not hard). Just a lot of farming and RNG.
*Very squishy, especially when wielding a bow (no shield)
*Cost of arrows can add up but they’re cheap and craftable
|
*Great starter class overall, both Hunters and Performers are good for different reasons. They fulfill different roles in parties too.
*Overall well-rounded for both leveling and making zeny (Hunters are better generally for farming because high ASPD alongside high DMG)
*I don't really know much about Hunters in terms of their builds so I can't really comment on it. The class overall is just really good.
|-
|-
|Payon Forest
|Mage
|pay_fild01
|
pay_fild08
*Very easy to level early and mid game overall
*Wizards and High Wizards are desirable in parties (for AoE)
*Professors (trans) are desirable in MvP parties as SP batteries
|
|
*Spore
1014

*Wizards are a bit difficult to play solo later on, if you're not patient
*Sages aren't desired in most parties, but they can be good at solo'ing at least
*Very squishy class, even with a shield
|
|
*Weak to Wind element
*Okay starter class, can't really unga bunga like Swordsman and Archer imo.
*Collect them Strawberries!
*Not ideal for solo play at higher levels.
*Walk 1 map South of Payon (or 1 map East)
*Wizards kinda rely on party support otherwise they can test your patience.
*Sages also rely on some support, depending on their build.
*Both classes are fun! The basics with Wizards and Sages are fairly easy to learn how to play. However, a really good High Wizard or Professor (in end-game content such as Biolabs 3) is a rarity.
|-
|-
|Ant Hell
|Thief
[Floor 1]
|
|anthell01
*Fairly easy to level early-mid game
*Rogues are good at farming materials
*Lots of flee! Luring mobs is pretty easy.
|
|
*Ant Egg
1097

*Not very desirable in parties generally
*Andre
1095

*Assassins are very squishy without a shield
*Piere
1160

*Expensive to optimise gear (end-game)
*Deniro
1105

*Vitata
1176

|
|
*Most monsters are weak to Fire element
*Okay starter class, tbh very weak in damage compared to others
*Andre Cards and Vitata Cards are desirable
*Assassin Cross changes are pretty good overall though, plus they look cool!
*Watch out for Maya Purple (Mini Boss)
*Both classes are fun and interesting to play, but like Mages, they're less straight-forward compared to Archer and Swordsman.
*Use Warper to Anthell dungeon
*Sorry I don't really know much about this class.
|-
|-
|Prontera Culvert
|Merchant
[Floor 1+]
|
|prt_sewb3
*Able to Overcharge loot to NPCs (make more zeny!)
*Able to use Discount on supplies from NPC (save more zeny!)
*Blacksmith can forge weapons and upgrade gear
*Alchemists can brew potions and other things
|
|
*Thief Bug Female
1053

*Harder to level compared to the other DPS classes
*Thief Bug Male
1054

*Not very desirable in parties sadly
|
|
*Most monsters are weak to Holy element
*Okay starter class. Be sure to make a merchant on a separate game account so you can auto-vend and whatnot.
*Thief Bug Female will assist when attacked btw
*A must-have for making and saving zeny!
*Use Warper to Culvert dungeon
*Alchemist skills such as Acid Terror has been improved on this server so they're more useful in parties now at least.
*Whitesmith (trans) can be really good for damage if you know what you're doing!
*Sorry I don't really know much about this class.
|-
|-
|Beach Cave
|Acolyte
[East]
|
|beach_dun03
*Easy to gear overall
*Priests are always desirable in parties (duh!)
*Monks are almost always desirable in parties (as tanks or damage)
|
|
*Hydra
1068

*Solo’ing can be difficult and slow compared to a party or a leech.
*Thara Frog
1034

*DPS overall is really low since this is a support class.
*Megalodon
1064

|
|
*Thara Frog and Hydra are weak to Wind element
*Okay starter class, better if you have friends to help you our (or you leech yourself)
*Megalodon is weak to Holy element
*Ideally make (priest) on separate account for convenience’ sake (buffs and warps)
*Thara Frog Cards, Hydra Cards, Detrimindexta and Panacea are desirable
*Priest builds are very similar and flexible to your preference!
*Use Warper to Beach Dungeon (Thara)
*I know nothing about monk builds, sorry. They're great for Steel Body (tank) and Asura (damage)

Tips on Making/Saving Zeny
Early-Game Methods:
Some suggestions are better than others, I simply try to provide various choices for newbies :) Making zeny with little resources/tools requires a lot of patience and effort! It gets easier as time goes on when you have friends/gear to farm with! Please feel free to provide your own tips and tricks for me to add to this guide! See Drop Changes and Item Changes as drop-rates and item values (raw zeny) have been either buffed or nerfed.

*Desert Wolf: Sell Claw of Desert Wolf and Katar [2] to NPC (The claws are pocket change but they drop frequently, just need to be patient)

*Marin: Save Aquamarines to sell to players in future (it is a crafting material for some endgame gear)

*Noteworthy Cards: Poring, Pupa, Creamy, Pecopeco, Drops, Horn, Thara Frog, Roda Frog, Wolf, etc. (Invest in yourself or sell to other players)

*Vend (to players): Rough Elunium, Elunium, Rough Oridecon, Oridecon, brewing materials (there's always demand for these)

Mid-Game Methods:

Anything that sells for 300~500z each to the NPC with level 10 Overcharge is a win to me lol
*"Hill Wind, Hill Wind, Hill Wind, Hill Wind, Hill Wind, Hill Wind, Hill Wind--" ~Literally Everyone
*Sleepers: Great Nature -> Umbala Breakdown Quest for Green Live, sell to NPC
**Do not kill Sleepers with a ranged class, they will cast Defender on idle and it'll take FOREVER to kill afterward
**Also, this server allows up to 200 Ore to be broken down at once!
**Green Live value has been nerfed but it's still good pocket change from NPC
*Wanderers:
(gl_cas02)
Sell Yggdrasil Leaves and Skulls to NPC
**Wanderers have high flee, you want to have ~283 hit on a Hunter/Sniper or an Arrow Vulcan Gypsy/Clown
**Wanderers are also weak to Earth element
*Raydrics & Abysmal Knight:
(gl_cas02)
Drops Elu (AK also drops Ori)
*Siromas/Snowiers/Ice Titans: Sell Frozen Hearts to NPC
*Roween: Combat Battle Gloves (decent drop rate, used as primary weapon for Asura, as well as rerolling options)
*Geffenia (Best for raw zeny but Sign Quest (nerfed) is required)
*Noteworthy Cards: Porcellio, Zerom, Marc, Phen, Alligator, Isilla, Alice, Medusa, Hodremlin, Raydric, Abysmal Knight, Zipper Bear, etc.
**Also cards that give % DMG or Resistance to specific monster elements/types are generally good

End-Game Methods:

This is really subjective lol Everyone has different strategies and end-game content gets updated over time
*Again, "Hill Wind, Hill Wind, Hill Wind, Hill Wind, Hill Wind, Hill Wind, Hill Wind--" ~Literally Everyone
*Again, again, Geffenia
*Abyss Lake: dragon parts are good for zeny but they also hurt a lot, also stone bucklers
*Magma Dungeon 2: same as above, good zeny but tough to solo farm efficiently

Checklist Early & Late Game
Generalised list of things you should do or get on this server

Early Game
*Make at least 3 accounts (under one master account)
**1 account for Merchant with Overcharge and Discount level 10, Vend level 1+ is optional
**1 account for Acolyte with Warp level 4 and Blessing/Agility-Up level 10
**1 account (or more) for your main class(es). It wouldn't hurt to have 1 class per account.
**(optional) 1 account (or same account as main) for farming materials/items.
*Save up for a decent weapon first? Then armour and a shield (more defense), and then accessories and cards. Note: This is subjective, this is my personal opinion
*Take advantage of Monster Hunter quests to earn some zeny while leveling
*Craft a Fish in Mouth and use Fresh Fish as soon as possible, it is better than using potions
*Save Hunting Coins for Class Figure(s) (accessories) (50 coins each) Note: You can equip 2 of the same class
*Save Hunting Coins for HD Elu/HD Ori (25 coins each) to upgrade future endgame gear

Late Game
Overall, it really depends on what you want to do when you reach end-game. So here are some basic stuff if you want to join MvP parties for zeny or gear or fun.

*Save Old Coins to get Gym Passes up to 10 passes
*Recommended Quests: Biolabs; Rachel Sanctuary, Veins Siblings, Curse of Gaebolg, Nameless Island
**To access Bio3, Rachel Sanctuary, Nameless Island and Cursed Abbey

*Recommended Item: Beezlebub Wing
**Expensive, but very convenient to have! They are tradeable as well.

Recommended Cards

Please feel free to contact me on Discord if you have any feedback, questions, and/or noticed any errors/inconsistencies. Additional information and recommendations are also welcome!

Note: This guide is a work in progress as we continue to test out new features throughout the game! The Discord version of this guide is slightly different here and there, but generally the information should be very similar.

(Some) Frequently Asked Questions

I’m new, what should I do?

Do your first job change and the NPC will offer to warp you to Malangdo right after. Otherwise, use the Warper to Malangdo. Talk to the cat NPC and do a quest called Gear Up, Buttercup! for free basic gears!

Also, here are some noteworthy pages to read before starting the game!

Is there a list of all the custom gears on this server?

Unfortunately not at this time. But most of them are posted on the server's Discord in #teaser channel.

Is this server P2W (Pay to Win)?

Nope, the Cash Shop is purely cosmetic!

Is there a job changer NPC?

No, all job change quests are vanilla with minor fixes (of bugs). Ninja quest has been changed (10 Cyfar is now 10 Iron Ore)

What is a ‘leech?’

It’s when one or more persons who actively kills monsters while the other(s) do nothing but still benefit from the EXP gained. Ideally this should be consensual between everyone involved.

Also, please keep in mind that idle players are excluded from the Party EXP Bonus.

Should I focus on leveling or earning zeny for gear first?

The answer is subjective to your playstyle. However there is a new Monster Hunter system that helps you both level AND earn zeny!

I can job change at job level 40, but should I grind to job level 50?

As a (non-trans) First Class, it’s entirely up to you. BUT as a (trans) High-First Class, yes you should hit job level 50 as your Trans Class skills may have more requirements from your High-First Class skill tree! Better to be safe than sorry, especially if you don’t have a build in mind already.

FYI: Trans means Transcendent Class

If I do a quest on character, do I have to repeat it on all other characters?

Nope! That single completion of the quest will benefit all characters under the Master Account! (Custom feature of this server)

FYI: cooldowns are also applied to the Master Account, not just individual characters.

How do I reset my stats/skills?

Use the Pub Amulet in your ‘Use’ Inventory and go to the Revenant Pub, there is a drunk cat sitting nearby who will reset your stats and/or skills! (free for level 70 and below)

Also, make use of our Stat Calculator to plan out your journey!

Is multi-clienting allowed?

Yes, and you can run as many clients with as many in-game accounts (while using one master account) as your computer can handle.

How to contact GM?

Try @request [your message here] in-game, it'll ping a GM or CM if they are online! Please do not directly DM individual staff.

Alternatively you can go to the server Discord and create a ticket or ask for help from the community!

⚠️ WARNING: Please be wary of scammers impersonating official staff! ⚠️

Official staff will NEVER:

❌ Offer special "GM" powers or other secret perks to random players.

❌ Ask you to download additional software in secret, especially in private DMs.

❌ Request for your password, account details, items or money.

❌ Pressure you to speak to them privately in DM (for any reason) instead of the ticket system.

❌ Resort to threats, punishment or harassment if you choose not to comply to any of the above.

Do not trust anyone claiming to be a GM or CM in-game or outside of our official Discord channels! Even if the name(s) seem familiar!

If you are unsure, take screenshots and report it immediately via #create-a-ticket on our official Discord!

Official announcements will only come from verified sources.

Please protect yourself and help us keep the community safe!

Noteworthy @Commands

There are so many Commands available. Here's a list of the ones that I think you should definitely know (at the very least, if you don't want to read the actual page).

@hold Locks your character in place to avoid misclicking and moving out of a party stack or something. Tip: Add this to your alt+m hotkey bar
@ltp Shows your last teleport location on minimap.
@playerstats Shows various game stats for that character (such as Top 3 Monster Killed, Playtime, Deaths, etc.).
@mi <monster name or ID> Gives information about that monster, including item drops + drop rates.
@ii <item name or ID> Links items related to that name (and shows it's ID).
@whodrops <item name or ID> Gives top 10 (highest rate) monsters that drop the item.
@whereis <monster name or ID> Shows the spawn locations and amounts of a mob.

Starting Classes

Brief notes on each of the first classes you can start off with, based off my personal experience and thoughts. My knowledge on some classes are very limited, so it's worth asking other players for more information.

First Class Pros Cons Notes
Swordsman
  • Fairly cheap and easy to level overall
  • Very easy to play
  • You can get away with using just NPC gears for the most part
  • Good for mob farming in future classes
  • They can be expensive to supply HP recovery items for mobbing/tanking
  • Great starter class overall, both Knights and Crusaders are good for different reasons. I enjoyed playing both of them.
  • Crusader builds are less flexible with their builds, you kinda have to choose one build or another to commit to; hybrid builds aren't really good overall. Simply put: Grand Cross is magic based, while Holy Cross/Agi is attack based, and Devotion is all about having a ton of HP and Dex.
  • Knight builds are more straightforward while still being flexible. The builds are fairly similar to each other so it's easier to experiment without having to compromise too much-- compared to crusaders at least.
Archer
  • Very easy to play and level
  • Great for solo farming materials for zeny
  • Hunters and Performers are great and desirable in parties.
  • Can be a bit tedious to gear (but it's not hard). Just a lot of farming and RNG.
  • Very squishy, especially when wielding a bow (no shield)
  • Cost of arrows can add up but they’re cheap and craftable
  • Great starter class overall, both Hunters and Performers are good for different reasons. They fulfill different roles in parties too.
  • Overall well-rounded for both leveling and making zeny (Hunters are better generally for farming because high ASPD alongside high DMG)
  • I don't really know much about Hunters in terms of their builds so I can't really comment on it. The class overall is just really good.
Mage
  • Very easy to level early and mid game overall
  • Wizards and High Wizards are desirable in parties (for AoE)
  • Professors (trans) are desirable in MvP parties as SP batteries
  • Wizards are a bit difficult to play solo later on, if you're not patient
  • Sages aren't desired in most parties, but they can be good at solo'ing at least
  • Very squishy class, even with a shield
  • Okay starter class, can't really unga bunga like Swordsman and Archer imo.
  • Not ideal for solo play at higher levels.
  • Wizards kinda rely on party support otherwise they can test your patience.
  • Sages also rely on some support, depending on their build.
  • Both classes are fun! The basics with Wizards and Sages are fairly easy to learn how to play. However, a really good High Wizard or Professor (in end-game content such as Biolabs 3) is a rarity.
Thief
  • Fairly easy to level early-mid game
  • Rogues are good at farming materials
  • Lots of flee! Luring mobs is pretty easy.
  • Not very desirable in parties generally
  • Assassins are very squishy without a shield
  • Expensive to optimise gear (end-game)
  • Okay starter class, tbh very weak in damage compared to others
  • Assassin Cross changes are pretty good overall though, plus they look cool!
  • Both classes are fun and interesting to play, but like Mages, they're less straight-forward compared to Archer and Swordsman.
  • Sorry I don't really know much about this class.
Merchant
  • Able to Overcharge loot to NPCs (make more zeny!)
  • Able to use Discount on supplies from NPC (save more zeny!)
  • Blacksmith can forge weapons and upgrade gear
  • Alchemists can brew potions and other things
  • Harder to level compared to the other DPS classes
  • Not very desirable in parties sadly
  • Okay starter class. Be sure to make a merchant on a separate game account so you can auto-vend and whatnot.
  • A must-have for making and saving zeny!
  • Alchemist skills such as Acid Terror has been improved on this server so they're more useful in parties now at least.
  • Whitesmith (trans) can be really good for damage if you know what you're doing!
  • Sorry I don't really know much about this class.
Acolyte
  • Easy to gear overall
  • Priests are always desirable in parties (duh!)
  • Monks are almost always desirable in parties (as tanks or damage)
  • Solo’ing can be difficult and slow compared to a party or a leech.
  • DPS overall is really low since this is a support class.
  • Okay starter class, better if you have friends to help you our (or you leech yourself)
  • Ideally make (priest) on separate account for convenience’ sake (buffs and warps)
  • Priest builds are very similar and flexible to your preference!
  • I know nothing about monk builds, sorry. They're great for Steel Body (tank) and Asura (damage)

If you have any additional recommendations or perhaps noticed an error, please feel free to contact me on Discord!

See Monster Changes and Drop Changes!

See Monster Hunter for additional (custom) EXP and zeny quests!

See Repeatable EXP Quests for additional (vanilla) EXP quests!

Note: The maps are mostly listed from lowest to highest overall level, as best as I can anyways.

Tips on Making/Saving Zeny

Some suggestions are better than others, I simply try to provide various choices for newbies :) Making zeny with little resources/tools requires a lot of patience and effort! It gets easier as time goes on when you have friends/gear to farm with! Please feel free to provide your own tips and tricks for me to add to this guide! See Drop Changes and Item Changes as drop-rates and item values (raw zeny) have been either buffed or nerfed.

Note: Raw Zeny refers to zeny earned from selling items directly to an NPC only, not to other players

Important Tips:

  • Make a merchant on a separate in-game account and get the skills Overcharge (OC) level 10 and Discount (DC) level 10, this will help you both save and earn of zeny when dealing with NPCs!
  • Take advantage of Buy Shops. They are vends that people put up that want to buy bulk amounts of things such as brewing materials
  • Use your merchant to Vend or sell things to other players, be sure to use the autotrade feature after you set up your vend (type @at and hit enter, the game will log you out with vend active)
  • Make an Acolyte that can memo (up to 3) places to Warp yourself instead of using the Warper (Bluegems are cheaper than the Warper)

Starter (Pocket Change) Method: Monster Hunter

Early-Game Methods:

  • Desert Wolf: Sell Claw of Desert Wolf and Katar [2] to NPC (The claws are pocket change but they drop frequently, just need to be patient)
  • Marin: Save Aquamarines to sell to players in future (it is a crafting material for some endgame gear)
  • Cookie & Christmas Cookie: drop Well-Baked Cookies, good pocket change from selling to NPC
  • Noteworthy Cards: Poring, Pupa, Creamy, Pecopeco, Drops, Horn, Thara Frog, Roda Frog, Wolf, etc. (Invest in yourself or sell to other players)
  • Vend (to players): Rough Elunium, Elunium, Rough Oridecon, Oridecon, brewing materials (there's always demand for these)

Mid-Game Methods:

Anything that sells for 300~500z each to the NPC with level 10 Overcharge is a win to me lol

  • "Hill Wind, Hill Wind, Hill Wind, Hill Wind, Hill Wind, Hill Wind, Hill Wind--" ~Literally Everyone
  • Sleepers: Great Nature -> Umbala Breakdown Quest for Green Live, sell to NPC
    • Do not kill Sleepers with a ranged class, they will cast Defender on idle and it'll take FOREVER to kill afterward
    • Also, this server allows up to 200 Ore to be broken down at once!
    • Green Live value has been nerfed but it's still good pocket change from NPC
  • Wanderers: (gl_cas02) Sell Yggdrasil Leaves and Skulls to NPC
    • Wanderers have high flee, you want to have ~283 hit on a Hunter/Sniper or an Arrow Vulcan Gypsy/Clown
    • Wanderers are also weak to Earth element
  • Raydrics & Abysmal Knight: (gl_cas02) Drops Elu (AK also drops Ori)
  • Siromas/Snowiers/Ice Titans: Sell Frozen Hearts to NPC
  • Roween: Combat Battle Gloves (decent drop rate, used as primary weapon for Asura, as well as rerolling options)
  • Geffenia (Best for raw zeny but Sign Quest (nerfed) is required)
  • Noteworthy Cards: Porcellio, Zerom, Marc, Phen, Alligator, Isilla, Alice, Medusa, Hodremlin, Raydric, Abysmal Knight, Zipper Bear, etc.
    • Also cards that give % DMG or Resistance to specific monster elements/types are generally good

End-Game Methods:

This is really subjective lol Everyone has different strategies and end-game content gets updated over time

  • Again, "Hill Wind, Hill Wind, Hill Wind, Hill Wind, Hill Wind, Hill Wind, Hill Wind--" ~Literally Everyone
  • Again, again, Geffenia
  • Abyss Lake: dragon parts are good for zeny but they also hurt a lot, also stone bucklers
  • Magma Dungeon 2: same as above, good zeny but tough to solo farm efficiently

Checklist Early & Late Game

Generalised list of things you should do or get on this server

Early Game

  • Take advantage of the 24-hour Beelzebub Wing that you get when you do the Gear Up, Buttercup! quest. It's so good (and short-lived).
  • Make at least 3 accounts (under one master account)
    • 1 account for Merchant with Overcharge and Discount level 10, Vend level 1+ is optional
    • 1 account for Acolyte with Warp level 4 and Blessing/Agility-Up level 10
    • 1 account (or more) for your main class(es). It wouldn't hurt to have 1 class per account.
    • (optional) 1 account (or same account as main) for farming materials/items.
  • Save up for a decent weapon first? Then armour and a shield (more defense), and then accessories and cards. Note: This is subjective, this is my personal opinion
  • Take advantage of Monster Hunter quests to earn some zeny while leveling
  • Craft a Fish in Mouth and use Fresh Fish as soon as possible, it is better than using potions
  • Save Hunting Coins for Class Figure(s) (accessories) (50 coins each) Note: You can equip 2 of the same class
  • Save Hunting Coins for HD Elu/HD Ori (25 coins each) to upgrade future endgame gear
  • Save Old Coins for re-rolling options on various (regular) gear

Late Game

Overall, it really depends on what you want to do when you reach end-game. So here are some basic stuff if you want to join MvP parties for zeny or gear or fun.

  • Save Old Coins to get Gym Passes up to 10 passes
  • Save Bloody Coins to re-rolling options MvP gears
  • Recommended Quests: Biolabs; Rachel Sanctuary, Veins Siblings, Curse of Gaebolg, Nameless Island
    • To access Bio3, Rachel Sanctuary, Nameless Island and Cursed Abbey
  • Recommended Item: Beezlebub Wing
    • Expensive, but very convenient to have! They are tradeable as well.

Recommended Cards

Another generalised list of stuff! Subject to change upon future content updates!

  • Recommended Cards (MvP'ing (Support) with Parties):
    • Important - Anti-freeze (Marc Card, Armour) - Alternatively, get any gear set that has Freeze Resistance option that totals to 100%
    • Important - Anti-Stone Curse (Medusa Card, Shield) - Alternatively, get any gear set that has Stone Curse Resist option that totals to 100%
    • Optional - Anti-Sleep (Nightmare Card, Headgear)
    • Optional - Boss Resist (Alice Card, Boss Resist+40%, Shield)
    • Optional - Ranged Resist especially against Hell's Judgement skill (Horn Card, Ranged Resist+50%, Shield) (Alligator Card, Range Resist+5%, Accessory) (Noxious Card, Neutral Resist+5% and Ranged Resist+10%)

    • Best All-Rounder (Armour) - Pecopeco Card, gives HP+10% (in any armour and option depending on class)
    • Best All-Rounder (Shield) - Hodremlin Card, reduces DMG from Small, Medium and Large Monster by 15% (in Stone Buckler with Size Resist option >=4%)
    • Best All-Rounder (Garment) - Raydric Card, Neutral Resist+10% (in a Muffler or something, HP option >= 200)
    • Best Defensive/Resist (Weapon) - Hermit Crab Card, Small Monster Resist+3%, Medium Monster Resist+2%, Large Monster Resist+1% (in a weapon with HP>=150 and Incoming Healing >=4%)(cards will stack)

  • Other Cards (Offensive):
    • Best Flat ATK (Armour) - Porcellio Card, ATK+25
    • Best Flat ATK (Weapon) - Andre Card, ATK+20; or Zipper Bear Card, ATK+30 BUT drains 1 SP when attacking
    • Best HP Recovery (Weapon) - Hunter Fly Card, 3% chance to gain 15% of DMG inflicted as HP per attack (cards will stack) (physical DMG only)
    • Best Flat MATK (Armour) - Agav Card, MATK+5% or Entweihen Crothen, MATK+100 lmao
    • Best Flat MATK (Weapon) - Sadly no cards UwU

  • Recommended Cute Pets:
    • Angeling (<- Mastering <- Poring) - MaxHP+2%, Heal Effectiveness+8%
    • Grand Pecopeco (<- Pecopeco) - HP+400 I fucking love pecos
    • Scatleton Crate (Quest) - When Loyal, increases healing from Fresh Fish by 100%, pair this with Fish in Mouth. (Not implemented yet)
    • Alicel (<- Aliza <- Alice) - Boss Resist+5%
    • Pip (Quest) - PD+3, +5% Success Rate for Brewing and Cooking
    • Incubus - SP+3%, 2% chance to gain 1% of damage dealt as SP
    • Teddy Bear (-> Abandoned Teddy Bear) - SP+100 (-> SP+200)
    • Baby Desert Wolf (-> Desert Wolf) - Int+1, SP+30 (-> Int+3, SP+130)
    • Mutating White Knight - MATK+2% ATK+2% (When evolved, it can do +7% Magical DMG OR +8% Physical DMG to Bosses instead)
    • Am Mut (<- Dokebi) - MATK+4%
    • Orc Warrior (-> High Orc -> Orc Hero) - ATK+10 (-> ATK+25 -> ATK+50)
Note: Please pay attention to the direction of (->) vs (<-) above, this is intentional

(-> ?) means each evolution stage of the monster is good, I also provide the perks from each stage

(? <-) is previous evolution stages listed for reference, nothing more

(Some) Common Early & Mid Range Gear

Does defense matter? Overall yes, to varying extents depending on class/build. This list is fairly generalised for most basic/common gears that I see players use. Also, endgame gear vary by class, budget and latest content; which is why I'm not including most of them here. So take this information with a grain of salt and ask for advice from the community!
