Description: Enables advanced filtering of client-side packets to improve performance, especially during high-load scenarios like WoE.
⚠ Experimental Feature This command is released on a use-at-your-own-risk basis.
- It may not work perfectly in all situations.
- If you encounter issues:
- Use
@packetfilter offand report the issue via a support ticket.
- Use
Usage
@packetfilter <Type+Options> <Type+Options>...
Each filter is made up of:
- 1 Filter Type (what you want to hide)
- 1 or more Options (who/what you want to hide it from)
How It Works
- First, choose what you want to filter (e.g. Chat =
C, Skills =T) - Then, choose who to filter it from (e.g. Self =
S, Others =O, Guild =G)
Simple Examples
- Hide [C]hat from [O]ther players:
@packetfilter CO
- Hide skill effects from everyone except yourself:
@packetfilter TPGO
- Hide [G]round skills (e.g. Storm Gust) from everything:
@packetfilter GSPGCBOHM
- Hide [C]hat from non-related players, pets, and monsters and blocks Bard/Dancer [M]usic from everything:
@packetfilter COHM MSPGCBOHM
Full Example
Block everything supported (not recommended):
@packetfilter CPGCBOHM EPGCBOHM ISPGCBOHM APGCBOHM BSPGCBOHM SGCBOHM TPGCBOHM GSPGCBOHM MSPGCBOHM DPGCBOHM
Tip: If you're unsure, start with small filters and build up. Over-filtering may hide important gameplay information.
