Integrated RWC
RWC
RWC (Ragnarok World Championship) is a structured team PvP format where players bring eligible characters to the RWC lobby, build out their consumable loadout using a provided budget, and compete against other registered teams in a timed arena.
Every match starts on a controlled footing - only approved gear is permitted, and all characters are held to the same level cap.
Overview
RWC is built around pre-match preparation and organized guild-versus-guild arena battles.
Players bring an eligible character to the RWC lobby, set up their consumable supplies using their starting budget, and join a party with their guildmates. Once a party is registered, staff can call a match between two teams, kicking off a 7-minute round in the arena. Teams can also use the Practice Rooms to run unofficial matches without GM involvement.
Team Size
- Minimum: 4 players
- Maximum: 7 players
Character Requirements
To participate in RWC, your character must meet all of the following:
- Be using an allowed RWC class
- Meet the level requirement for your class:
- Base Level 90 / Job Level 60 for most classes
- Base Level 85 / Job Level 60 for High Wizard, Sniper, High Priest, and Champion
- Carry only approved RWC items - every piece of gear and every card must be from the RWC-approved list
These requirements are verified by Chaos when you register, and re-verified before each match.
Allowed Classes
The following classes are permitted in RWC:
- Lord Knight
- High Wizard
- Sniper
- High Priest
- Assassin Cross
- Paladin
- Scholar
- Clown / Gypsy
- Champion
- Creator
- Stalker
No two players on the same team may share a class.
How Registration Works
Registration is handled through Chaos, the registration NPC in the lobby.
All party members must meet the following before the party can register:
- Be online
- Be inside the RWC lobby
- Be in the same guild as the party leader
- Be using an allowed class at the required level
- Not share a class with any other party member
- Carry only approved RWC gear and items
- Carts are not allowed.
- Gears cannot be refined past the safe limit.
To register:
- Form a party with your team.
- Have the party leader speak to Chaos.
- If all checks pass, Chaos will ask for final confirmation before adding your team to the list.
Only the party leader can register or unregister the team. If your team is already registered and you need to pull out, the party leader can speak to Chaos again to unregister.
Before a match begins, both teams are re-verified - if anything has changed (a member disconnected, swapped class, left the guild, changed gear, etc.) the team will automatically be removed from the queue.
Match Start
When staff call a match:
- Staff select a Blue Team and a Red Team from the registered party list.
- Both teams are re-verified.
- All active status effects are removed from every online party member.
- Supplies are refreshed for both teams.
- Both teams are dequeued and warped into opposite sides of the arena.
Both guild names are announced server-wide when the match begins.
Round Timer
Rounds last 7 minutes and can end in a tie if each team has the same number of remaining members. In the event of a tie, another match may be conducted (possibly without the High Priests of each party).
You have 20 seconds to prepare before walls drop after you are warped to the arena.
Match Result
A match ends when the time limit is reached or one team has no living players left on the map.
- The team with more surviving players wins.
- If both teams have the same number of surviving players, the match is a tie.
- All players are warped back to the RWC lobby after the match.
Lobby Services
The RWC lobby has everything needed to prepare a match-ready character.
The Arbiter (Level Reset)
Resets your character to RWC competition level. This is a one-time use per character and cannot be undone.
- Most classes: resets to Base Level 90 / Job Level 60
- High Wizard, Sniper, High Priest, Champion: resets to Base Level 85 / Job Level 60
All stats and skills are cleared and restored with the correct point totals. Platinum skills are granted automatically.
Battle Angel (Repair and Resupply)
Quickly gets your character match-ready:
- Repairs all equipped gear
- Fully restores HP and SP
- Refreshes your RWC supplies to your allocated amounts
This NPC has a short cooldown between uses.
RWC Supply Manager
Lets you allocate your 2,500,000 Zeny consumable budget across a curated list of RWC supplies. You set the quantity you want for each item - as long as the total cost stays within your budget and each item's individual cap - then collect everything at once. You can also remove all supplies at any time.
Save Point
Sets your respawn point to the RWC Lobby.

Practice Rooms
Three self-service practice arenas where parties can run unofficial matches without GM involvement. Each room operates independently.
- The first party to register at a room claims the waiting slot (shown above the NPC).
- The second party accepts the challenge and triggers the match immediately.
- Both parties are fully verified before the match starts - the same checks apply as for official matches.
- If the waiting party's registration becomes invalid, they are automatically removed when a challenger arrives.
- A party can only hold one practice room slot at a time.
Practice rooms return to available status automatically when a match ends.
Arena Rules
The arena enforces a set of restrictions to keep the environment controlled:
- No RodEx, Bank, or Trade
- No Vending or item drops
- No Memo, Warp, or Teleport
- No Dead Branches
- No EXP penalty on death
- No Ice Wall
- No Assumptio or Basilica
- No Gospel
- No Loki's Veil or Moonlit Water Mill
- No Intimidate
- No Cultivation
- No wedding/family call skills (Call Partner, Call Parents, Call Baby, Call Family)
- Gym Passes do not work in the RWC Lobby or arenas.
- In-Guild Skills like Mind Breaker, Sharp Shooting, and Provoke do not work on team members.
- Marionette Control is enabled on team members.
- Song buffs cannot be dispelled inside the RWC arenas.
- We implement a "fixpos" change that prevent the cell state reset when using skills while moving.
Quick Start Guide
- Prepare an eligible character: allowed class, correct level, and only approved RWC gear in your inventory.
- Travel to the RWC Lobby in the basement of the Revenant Pub.
- If you need to reset to competition level, speak to The Arbiter (one-time use only).
- Set your supplies with the Supply Manager (2,500,000 z budget), then collect them.
- Use the Battle Angel to repair gear and top off HP/SP.
- Set your respawn point at the Save Point if you haven't already.
- Form a party with your guildmates (all members must be in the same guild).
- Have the party leader speak to Chaos to validate and register.
- Wait for your match to be called - or head to a Practice Room to run an unofficial match in the meantime. Good luck.
